Data deletion

You can ask us to delete your data at any time. It is free.

Waitlist

  1. Send an email to support@tryhookai.app from the address you signed up with.
  2. Use the subject Delete my data.
  3. We delete your sign-up (email, platforms and follower range) within 30 days, then reply to confirm.

We ask you to write from the signed-up address so we know the request is yours.

App account: available when the app launches

The app is not released yet, so there is no app account to delete today. When the app launches, it is designed to work like this. In the app, go to Settings and choose Delete Account. It will:

  1. Remind you that your subscription is billed through Apple until you cancel it, and give you a button to manage it.
  2. Ask you to sign in with Apple once more, so HookAI can revoke its access to your Apple account.
  3. Delete what HookAI holds: the backup of your hook library and Hook Insights history, and on your device your projects, copied clips, renders and caches. Connected-account login tokens are removed from your phone.
  4. Blank the identifying details on the account record (name, email, Apple user ID, tokens). Signing in again later creates a new account.

Videos you already saved to your Photos library are your own copies, so deleting the account does not remove them.

You can also disconnect TikTok, Instagram or YouTube in the app at any time.
